What is Checkout Links?

Checkout Links lets you create direct, optimized checkout experiences for your Shopify store. Send customers straight to a pre-filled cart with discounts, gifts, and more—no code required.

Do I need to be on a paid plan to use Checkout Links?

Yes, you need to be on at least the Starter plan to create and share checkout links. Development stores can use Checkout Links for free.

My link is showing a 404 Page Not Found error, how do I fix it?

This usually happens when the app setup process wasn’t completed properly. Go to Settings > Setup and click “Run Setup Process” to fix this issue. For detailed step-by-step instructions, see our 404 troubleshooting guide.

It says that my product is out of stock, but it's not, what do I do?

Your product neeeds to be available on the Online Store sales channel. Open the product in Shopify, click “Manage” in the sales channels section, select Online Store, and save your changes. The product will now be available for your links.

Why can't I see my discount code when creating a link?

Discount codes must be activated for the Checkout Links sales channel in Shopify. Edit the discount, select Checkout Links, and save.

Can I add a free gift to a checkout link?

Yes! Toggle on the Free Gift card when creating your link, select the product variant, and optionally set a minimum purchase amount.

How do I change or cancel my plan?

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the settings page in your Checkout Links dashboard.

Is Checkout Links secure?

Yes, Checkout Links is built on Shopify’s secure infrastructure and meets all requirements for the Built for Shopify badge.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Your links will stop working immediately. No changes are made to your theme or store settings. You can pause your plan instead of uninstalling if you want to keep your settings and data.
