Checkout Links is a sales channel, which gives the app extra capabilities while still working as a normal app on your store.

What is a Sales Channel?

A sales channel in Shopify represents a place where you sell your products. As a sales channel, Checkout Links can:
  • Control product availability
  • Manage discount access
  • Track sales attribution
  • Integrate with Shopify’s native features
  • Provide detailed analytics

Product Availability

To sell a product with Checkout Links, it must be activated for the Checkout Links Sales Channel. It’s easy to activate a product:

Open the product in Shopify

Open the product you want to activate and look in the right tab. If you can’t see Checkout Links in the list, click on “Manage”.

Select Checkout Links

Select Checkout Links and click on “Done”.

Save your product

Save your updated product listing.
Your product should now be activated for Checkout Links!

Discount Availability

If you can’t see your discount code when creating a link, it needs to be activated for the Checkout Links Sales Channel:

Go to the discount in Shopify

In your Shopify admin, go to the selected discount and see if it’s activated.

Activate for Checkout Links

If not, select Checkout Links and save your discount. It should now appear in the list of discounts when creating a new link!
