Consider pausing your subscription instead of uninstalling if you:
  • Want to take a break
  • Plan to use the app again later
  • Want to keep your settings and data
  • Need to temporarily reduce costs

What Happens When Uninstalling

When uninstalling Checkout Links, you’ll be prompted by Shopify with a warning because Checkout Links is a sales channel. You can ignore this warning as it’s not applicable to the way Checkout Links interacts with your store.
Checkout Links does not change your theme code, settings, or anything else you need to worry about after uninstalling.

After Uninstalling

  • If you see a charge on your account after uninstalling, please refer to the Billing Cycle documentation.
  • Your links will stop working immediately after uninstalling. Make sure to remove or replace any Checkout Links you have in active marketing campaigns.
