What you can do with Klaviyo
Abandoned cart recovery
Send abandoned cart emails with checkout links that restore the customer’s exact cart. Use dynamic link parameters with Klaviyo merge tags to rebuild the cart items and pre-fill customer information.
How it works:
-
A customer abandons their cart
-
Klaviyo triggers your abandoned cart flow
-
The email includes a checkout link with the abandoned products passed as URL parameters
-
The customer clicks and goes straight to checkout with their cart restored — plus any promotion you’ve added (like 10% off to incentivise completing the purchase)

Reorder reminders
Send customers a link to reorder products they’ve previously bought. Especially effective for consumable products on a predictable replenishment cycle.
How it works:
-
A customer makes a purchase
-
After a set period (for example 30 days), Klaviyo triggers a reorder flow
-
The email includes a checkout link that pre-fills the customer’s details and re-adds their previously purchased items
-
One click and they’re back at checkout ready to reorder
Full walkthrough: Reorder links with Klaviyo.
Customer pre-fill
Use Klaviyo’s customer data to pre-fill checkout information and reduce friction:
https://yourstore.com/offer?c=#{{ person.id|default:'' }}
The customer’s name, email, and shipping address are filled in for them at checkout.
Triggering from Shopify Flow
If you’d rather trigger checkout link emails from Shopify Flow instead of from a Klaviyo flow, Checkout Links also adds a Send Checkout Link Flow action that sends a link via Klaviyo. See Shopify Flow.
