The Checkout Links Button is a block you add to your theme in the Shopify theme editor. It turns any page into a landing page that uses Checkout Links as the offer engine: you build the page in Shopify, drop in the button, and point it at one of your checkout links.
When a customer clicks the button, the link opens right on your page. If the link has a popup, the offer opens as an overlay over your page — products, discounts, and progress bar included — so customers never leave. If the link goes straight to checkout, the button sends them there.
Adding the button
-
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize.
-
Open the page you want the button on and select a section.
-
Click Add block and choose Checkout Links Button.
-
In the block settings, pick a Checkout link, set the button text and style, then click Save.
Settings
-
Checkout link — Choose which of your checkout links the button opens.
-
Button text — The label shown on the button, such as “View offer” or “Shop the deal”.
-
Width — Auto sizes the button to its text; Full width stretches it across the section.
-
Button color and Text color — Match the button to your page.
-
Padding and Corner radius — Fine-tune the button’s size and shape.
How it works
-
Popup links open the offer as an overlay on top of your page. Customers add products, apply the discount, and continue to checkout without leaving.
-
Direct links (no popup) take the customer straight to checkout when they click.
-
The offer’s Skip link closes the overlay and returns the customer to your page.
-
On mobile, the offer opens as a bottom sheet for a natural, app-like feel.
Tips
-
Build a full campaign page in Shopify — hero, copy, images — and use the button as the call to action that opens your offer.
-
Add more than one button on a page to feature different offers.
-
Set up the offer (products, discounts, progress bar) on the checkout link itself — the button just launches it.
