The Text block adds a heading and body text to your LinkShop page. Use it for announcements, descriptions, or any written content you want visitors to see.
What It Does
The Text block displays a headline and a body of text on your page. It’s a simple but versatile block — use it to welcome visitors, explain a promotion, introduce your brand, or add context between other blocks.
Settings
- Headline — The heading text displayed at the top of the block
- Heading size — The size of the headline: Small, Base, or Large
- Content — The body text displayed below the headline. Supports multiple lines
- Alignment — Text alignment for both the headline and body: Left, Center, or Right
How to Add a Text Block
- Open your LinkShop in the Shopify admin
- Click the + button to add a new block
- Select Text from the block list
- Enter your Headline and Content
- Choose the Heading size and Alignment
- Click Save
Tips
- Use a Text block above a Product Grid to introduce a curated selection — for example, “Our Summer Picks” followed by a grid of products
- Keep body text concise. Visitors on mobile are scanning quickly, so shorter is better
- You can leave the headline or content empty if you only need one or the other
