A theme gives your LinkShop a complete look in one click: colors, fonts and layout, plus a starter set of blocks built from your store. It is the fastest way to get a page that already looks finished, which you then adjust to taste.
What a Theme Sets
Choosing a theme applies three things at once:
- Branding colors — Headline text, card background and text, checkout button background and text, and product tag colors. These become your page’s global colors.
- Typography — A heading font and a body font. For example, Peachy Keen uses Playfair Display for headings with Lato for body text, while Mint Fresh pairs Raleway with Open Sans.
- Layout — Rounded corners on cards, and for some themes a solid offset shadow behind every block. Themes with a shadow also add a little more spacing between blocks.
Every one of these lands in your global Branding and Layout settings, so you can change any of them afterwards.
The Themes Available
Light, Lavender, Peachy Keen, Mint Fresh, Cherry, Mocha, Ocean, Sunset, Dark, Slate, Neon Nights, Forest, Burgundy, Plum, Charcoal and Navy. Peachy Keen, Cherry, Slate, Neon Nights, Burgundy, Charcoal and Navy include the offset shadow.
Each theme card in the selector previews its own colors and fonts, so you can compare them before choosing.
Choosing a Theme on a New Page
When you open a new LinkShop that has no blocks yet, the theme selector appears automatically. Pick one and LinkShop builds a starter page for you:
- A Header with your store name and description
- A Product block for your newest product, tagged NEW ARRIVAL
- An Email Collection block inviting visitors to subscribe
- A Product Slider titled “Shop our best sellers!” with your next six products
- A Link block to your full store
- A Link block to your contact email
It also fills in your social links with your store URL and guesses your Instagram and TikTok handles from your store name. Check those in the Header block and correct any that are wrong.
The editor then switches to the Blocks view so you can start editing.
Switching Themes Later
You can open Themes in the editor at any time and pick a different one. If you only want a different color scheme or font, the global Branding settings cover the same colors and fonts a theme sets.
Themes and Block Styling
A theme sets the global look. Individual blocks can override it — a different background on one product card, no border on a particular link — using each block’s own Styling section. See Styling Blocks for how that works and how to reset a block to the global defaults.
Tips
- Pick the theme first, then customize. It is much quicker than building the colors and fonts by hand.
- Match the theme to your product photography: dark themes such as Charcoal and Navy make bright product images pop, while Light and Mocha suit softer, warmer catalogs.
