The Flow actions
Checkout Links adds three Flow actions. You can use them on their own or chain them together.
-
Send Checkout Link — Sends a checkout link by email through your connected Klaviyo account. Sends to one customer, a list of emails, or a whole segment
-
Get customers — Resolves a Shopify segment, customer tag, or customer search query into a customer list you can feed into Send Checkout Link for bulk sending
-
Use dynamic link — Takes one of your Dynamic Links and overlays runtime data on it (line items, customer), producing a per-trigger customized URL to send
Chaining them together
The actions are designed to combine. The four most common patterns:
-
Send Checkout Link on its own — send a configured link to the trigger customer
-
Get customers → Send Checkout Link — bulk-send a link to a segment, tag, or query
-
Use dynamic link → Send Checkout Link — send a per-trigger customized URL (e.g. with the order’s items pre-filled) to the trigger customer
-
Get customers → Use dynamic link → Send Checkout Link — bulk-send a customized URL to a segment, with each recipient pre-filled as themselves at checkout
Worked examples for all four patterns are in the Send Checkout Link article.
What you can build
-
Reorder reminders — Trigger on a delay after an order, send a link that reorders the customer’s previous items
-
Win-back campaigns — When a customer hasn’t ordered in 90 days, send a checkout link with a discount
-
VIP early access — When a customer crosses a spending threshold, send them an early-access link
-
Post-purchase upsell — After an order is placed, send a link with complementary products
-
Birthday offers — Trigger from a customer-metafield date and send a birthday discount link
-
Review reward — After a customer leaves a review, send a thank-you link with a small discount
-
Weekly segment blast — On a schedule, fan out a curated link to a segment of your choosing
Create a reorder link from a customer’s profile
If you’d rather create reorder links one customer at a time, Checkout Links also adds a Create Reorder Link action to the customer detail page in your Shopify admin.
-
Open the customer in your Shopify admin
-
Click More actions and choose Create Reorder Link
-
A checkout link is generated with that customer’s previous items already in the cart and their shipping details pre-filled
This is handy for support cases or one-off outreach where automating the whole thing through Flow would be overkill.
